Showcase Information
Location
The showcase will take place at Extreme Gym, where the gym will be transformed into a festive luau setting. Equipment will be rearranged and the space decorated to create plenty of room for family and friends to relax and enjoy the show. 🌺🌴
Show Format
Each student will be grouped with children from the same class type. The day begins with a short warm-up when they arrive. After that, each group moves to their starting event and takes turns performing the routines they have learned before rotating to the next event. Routines are performed on vault, uneven bards, balance beam and floor exercise. All events run simultaneously. This format is similar to a Fun Meet, which serves as the entry-level competition experience for our Developmental Team. 🌺🤸♀️
Invited Classes
A few classes are not eligible to participate in the showcase. These include Tumbling-only classes, Parent & Tot, Twinklers, and Tumble Tots. If your child is currently enrolled in one of these classes but would like to participate, please add a qualifying gymnastics class to their schedule as soon as possible. All other gymnastics classes are invited and encouraged to take part in the event! 🌺🤸♀️
Spectators
🎉 Invite friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more! Who wouldn’t want to see all the amazing hard work your gymnast has been putting in? 🎟️ Admission sales start in April! Seats can be purchased by section, with tiered options from VIP ✨ to General Admission. Admission applies to all spectators ages 2 & up.
Show Uniform
Every performer will shine in their special showcase outfit! Girls will dazzle in a fun, colorful leotard, while boys will rock an Extreme T-shirt paired with shorts—perfect for showing off all their hard work and skills! 🌟🤸♂️🌺
Show Routines
All classes will be learning and practicing their showcase routines during regular class time, starting now and continuing up until the event. 🤸♀️ Coaches will be nearby during the showcase to support and guide the gymnasts. If your child would like extra practice, you can add an additional weekly class, or take advantage of private lessons offered by most coaches. 🌟
Team Demonstrations
As an exciting bonus, several levels of our gymnastics team will perform on event apparatus, along with a variety of dance and acrobatic routines sprinkled throughout the show! 🤸♀️💃✨
